As a young girl, I knew that my mission in life was to help people be successful. My vision then was to become a social worker or lawyer. Little did I know that helping people was not limited to social services. As long as I was doing what I was purposed for in this world, God would do the rest. I've spent sixteen plus years helping people understand who they are by recognizing their strengths and gifts within them. I love to see people win. I love to empower them as God begins to show them who He created them to be. The goal always is and always will be to empower you to live with purpose on purpose.
I wake up every morning looking to empower individuals and their families to live according to the purpose that God has for them. I aim to strengthen the family unit and help to create legacies that help to strengthen our communities and the people within them.
" My hope, is that you come to the realization that you have a purpose and God wants to use you for such a time as this."

I am a passionate individual with a diverse background that has shaped my journey. Originally hailing from the vibrant city of Atlantic City, New Jersey, my life has been a tapestry of experiences, courtesy of my military family, leading me to embrace new cultures and environments.
For the past two decades, I have called the Acadiana area my home. After pursuing my bachelor’s degree in child and Family Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, I continued my educational journey by completing a master’s degree in human services counseling with a Specialization in Marriage and Family from Liberty University.
My dedication to fostering strong relationships and empowering others has culminated in becoming a Certified Marriage Enrichment Facilitator, proficient in the Prepare and Enrich and SYMBIS curricula, along with earning the title of Certified Professional Life Coach. Through these certifications, I have honed the ability to positively impact individuals and couples through coaching, premarital counseling, and various other means.
With over twenty years of experience in the human services field, I have held pivotal roles in Therapeutic Foster Care, Case Management, and Behavioral/Mental Health, solidifying my expertise and commitment to making a difference.
In April 2018, my husband and I took our shared passion to new heights by founding The Family Connection Inc., a non-profit organization that empowers and supports older foster care youth through life prep courses, counseling services, independent living guidance, educational development, and career guidance. Our primary mission is to help families unleash their full potential and achieve remarkable growth.
Recognized as one of Acadiana's top 20 under 40 young leaders in 2018, I actively engage with the community, nurturing thriving relationships. My involvement with W.O.W (Women of Wisdom) and The Arch (Acadiana Region Coalition on Homelessness) reflects my unwavering dedication to meaningful causes. Additionally, serving on the planning committee for the UL Women's Leadership Conference and acting as the Community Engagement Chair for True Friends Society, I strive to inspire positive change in the lives of those around me.
As an accomplished author, my book 'Anchored: Anchored in Christ, Anchored in Marriage,' available on esteemed platforms like Amazon, Audible, iTunes, Ingram Spark, Books a Million, Barnes and Noble, and Attakapas Collective, showcases my commitment to fostering strong relationships anchored in faith and love.
My life's mission revolves around helping people realize their inherent strengths and leveraging them to nurture thriving relationships in every facet of their lives. Together, let's unlock the full potential of human connections and create a more fulfilled and harmonious world."
